Erythrophleum is a genus of legume in the Fabaceae family.

Erythrophleum lasianthum is a South African indigenous tree from the KwaZulu-Natal Province where it can be found from False Bay to Maputaland in KwaZulu-Natal, also occurs in Swaziland and Mozambique. It grows into a large tree of up to 15 meters tall. It has pinnate dark glossy leaves. During spring it bears dense spikes of cream or yellow flowers which are followed by flat pods with seeds.
