Aloe mocamedensis

Native to the arid coastal deserts of south-western Africa, this species is associated with the Angola–Namibia region and is naturally found on stony, sparsely vegetated ground where heat, wind and brilliant light shape compact, resilient plants. In cultivation, Aloe mocamedensis forms a solitary, tight rosette of thick, lance-shaped leaves that rise sharply and then flare slightly outward, creating a dramatic, spiked silhouette.
