California Blue Bell, although it is native to desert environments, can be grown in less severe climates if given enough sun. True to its common name, this bluebell is a desert blooming plant that bears flowers of a rich, inky-blue. Obviously drought-resistant, it still responds in favorable ways to normal rain-fall and watering. If kept watered during the blooming period, these little flowers will maintain a longer flowering period. They grow very quickly and bloom fast from seed.
