Kalanchoe orgyalis is a succulent from Madagascar. It turns into a shrub that can reach over 1.828 meters tall and can get just as wide if pruned correctly. It has spathulate ovate leaves that fold upward from the middle and are a bronze to grey colour on the underside while the top side is felted with fine cinnamon coloured hairs that eventually age to the same colour as the lower surface. In the late winter to early spring appear the bright yellow flowers in terminal clusters at the branch tips. Plant in full sun along the coast to a light shade inland and is hardy to around 3.8 °Celsius. This plant is native to rocks and dry soils in southern and southwestern Madagascar. It is a very strong grower that does most of its growing during the spring and autumn.
