Melianthus is a genus of plants and shrubs native to South Africa, but much propagated in gardens worldwide. Melianthus pectinatus, commonly known as Honey Bush or Namaqua Turkey Bush, is a gorgeous shrub up to 150cm with grey-green foliage. During spring it puts on a beautiful display of greenish flowers with red flower bracts. These are followed by attractive inflated fruits.
