Papaver is a genus of 70 to 100 species of frost-tolerant annuals, biennials, and perennials native to temperate and cold regions of Eurasia, Africa and North America. It is the type genus of the poppy family, Papaveraceae.

This easy to grow Poppy will reach a height of 80 cm in the garden. You will stand in astonishment at their outstanding range of bright clear colours. They stand proudly above glaucus green foliage with their exquisite, large 7-10cm fully double flower heads. Plant it in full sun for flowers from early spring to late summer.
