Stoebe aethiopica, synonymously known as Stoebe phylicoides and commonly known as Knoppiesbos, Knoppiesslanbos or Withofie-slangbos in Afrikaans and African Snakebush or Juniper-Leafed Stoebe in Afrikaans, is a South African endemic perennial shrub found in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces, growing amongst fynbos. During spring and summer, the white flowers that attract butterflies to the garden appear.
