Zaluzianskya natalensis, synonymously known as Nycterinia natalensis and commonly known as Natal Drumsticks, is a South African indigenous annual found in the Free State, KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga provinces. This species occurs from Barberton in eastern Mpumalanga, southwards through western eSwatini (Swaziland) to the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands and Drakensberg foothills in the vicinity of Kokstad. During spring and summer it produces gorgeous snow white flowers that are red on the reverse.
