Bobartia gladiata ssp. teres, commonly known as Round Sword Rushiris, is a South African endemic perennial bulbous plant that is scattered through most of the range, from Bain’s Kloof to Hangklip in the Western Cape province growing amongst fynbos, occurring on sandstone slopes in sandy places, flowering best after fire. From spring to summer the iridescent bright yellow flowers appear.
