Chaenostoma is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Scrophulariaceae. Its native range is Southern Tropical and Southern Africa. The genus name, Chaenostoma, means gaping mouth.

Chaenostoma campanulatum, synonymously known as Chaenostoma polyanthum, Manulea campanulata, Sutera campanulata, Sutera intertexta or Sutera roseoflava is a South African endemic species from the Eastern Cape Province. Chaenostoma campanulatum is a hairy perennial, compact little plant producing runners. The leaves are coarsely toothed. The tiny, broadly funnel-shaped white to light purple flowers appears mainly from mid-winter to mid-summer.
