While detailed horticultural descriptions are scarce, D. aereum follows the typical Delosperma plan of opposite fleshy leaves and daisy-like flowers carried on short stems above the foliage. The species epithet “aereum” suggests warm, golden tones, though natural flower colour may vary between populations and forms. Until more field and cultivation data are published, it should be treated as a collector’s species rather than a mass landscaping plant.
