Eliokarmos is a newly discovered genus of perennial bulbous plants in the Hyacinthaceae family. It is endemic to South Africa where it can be found growing in the Namaqualand region. Eliokarmos leeupoortensis, synonymously known as Ornithogalum leeupoortense, is a rarely seen species found between Richtersveld and Springbok. It does particularly well in pots or rockeries. It bears white flowers.
