Juttadinteria is a genus of plant in family Aizoaceae. The genus was named in honour of Mrs Jutta Dinter, wife of Prof. M.K. Dinter. The plants are small succulents forming irregular clumps, or they are more upright and shrubby. Leaves are pale grey-green or blue-green, mostly short and fleshy, fused, almost cylindrical, broadly boat-shaped or triangular, sometimes with reddish or brownish teeth on the margins and keels. Growth occurs mainly in winter. Plants grow well in sandy loam in a bright and warm greenhouse. Do not allow them to freeze.
Juttadinteria albata is a South African indigenous species from the Northern Cape Province where it can be found growing from Southern Namibia, and northern Richtersveld, only around Sendelingsdrift. It is synonymously known as Mesembryanthemum albatum. Juttadinteria albata has short erect stems and during spring it bears white flowers.
