Moraea longiaristata, is a critically endangered South African endemic perennial geophyte found in the Western Cape on lower to middle altitude slopes of the Caledon Swartberg, often amongst fynbos, and growing in stony, sandstone-derived soil. Growing from 15 to 30 cm tall, it has a single linear channelled leaf and small white flowers with yellow nectar guides outlined in dark blue with blue to purple speckles around and below the nectar guides during spring.
