Moraea namibensis, commonly known as Namib Tulip, is an endangered South African indigenous perennial geophyte found in the Northern Cape province from Southern Namibia to Port Nolloth growing on sandy flats. From mid-winter to late spring, it bears striking purple flowers with yellow nectar guides.
