Moraea schlechteri, synonymously known as Homeria schlechteri and commonly known as Schlechter’s Homeria, is a South African endemic perennial geophyte found in the Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces from Steinkopf to Bitterfontein occurring in flat, sandy places, or gentle, gravelly slopes. Growing to 20cm tall, it has two lanceolate leaves with a broad sheathing base. It has small yellow flowers grouped at the ends of the stems during spring.
