Prismatocarpus is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Campanulaceae. It includes 27 species endemic to the Cape Provinces of South Africa.

Prismatocarpus sessilis, synonymously known as Prismatocarpus acerosus and Wahlenbergia filicaulis, is a South African endemic sprawling shrublet up to 60cm tall. The leaves are linear with curved margins. The flowers are bell-shaped in groups of 1-3, white to pale blue, 5mm in diameter and appear from December to March. It grows on sheltered slopes on sandstone soils.
