The genus Tulbaghia, commonly known as wild garlic or society garlic, is a charming group of flowering plants in the Alliaceae family, native primarily to southern Africa. Tulbaghia siebertii, synonymously known as Prototulbaghia siebertii, is an endangered range-restricted South African endemic perennial found in the Limpopo province and is found in Sekhukhuneland, southern summit of the Leolo Mountains. Throughout spring and summer, it produces sweetly scented white flowers flushed with pink that attract bees and butterflies to the garden.
