Ebracteola is a South African indigenous genus placed in the Aizoaceae family. They are also found in neighboring Namibia. Plants grow in small, much-branched tufts. The bicoloured flowers in combination with the short, stiff, blue-green leaves sprouting from a thickened rootstock, characterize the genus. Plants are easily cultivated in pots or open beds.
Ebracteola fulleri is from the western edge of Bushmanland from Steinkopf to Pofadder. It has delicate, more or less cylindrical leaves which are also blueish white. It was previously known as Ruschia fulleri.
