Euryops is a genus of 97 species in the sunflower family, Asteraceae. They are native mostly to rocky sites in southern Africa, with a few species in other parts of Africa and on the Arabian Peninsula. They produce daisy-like flower heads from fern-like foliage.
Euryops imbricatus commonly known as Harpuisbos in Afrikaans and Resin Bush in English is a South African endemic species from the Northern Cape and Western Cape Provinces. It grows into a sprawling shrub up to 1 meter tall. It has fleshy bright green leaves. From autumn to spring it bears yellow flowers. It is best sown during autumn.
