Malephora, belonging to the Aizoaceae family, is a genus of succulent plants in the ice plant family. There are 13 to 17 species in the genus, many of which are known commonly as mesembs. They are native to Africa. During the apartheid era, South African scientists used it to create a chemical poison.

Malephora mollis, commonly known as Geelvingerkanna or Geelvygie in Afrikaans and synonymously known as Corpuscularia molle or Mesembryanthemum molle, is a South African endemic species found in the Eastern Cape and Western Cape provinces. Malephora mollis is described as a profusely branched shrub up to 50 cm tall, with leaves three-angled to round in cross-section and to 20 mm long and about 3 mm thick. At the start of spring it produces striking yellow flowers.
