Melolobium is a genus of approximately 30 species of flowering plants belonging to the legume family (Fabaceae). It is native to southern Africa, where it is found in south and east Namibia, southwest Botswana, and most of South Africa.

Melolobium adenodes synonymously known as Melolobium karasbergense and commonly known as Taaiheuningbos in Afrikaans and Sticky Honey Bush in English, is a South African indigenous perennial up to 60cm tall found in the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces. It has tri-foliate sticky leaves and stems. During spring it produces a striking lax raceme of yellow pea flowers.
