Monilaria chrysoleuca is a clump forming succulent mesemb to 20cm with long narrow leaves and white to red or purple flowers. Monilaria prefer regular watering in well draining soil to thrive. Let the soil dry before watering. They need as much light during the growth period as you can give them. Synonyms include Conophyllum chrysoleucum, Mesembryanthemum chrysoleucum, Mitrophyllum chrysoleucum, Monilaria chrysoleuca forma purpurea, Monilaria chrysoleuca var. polita, Monilaria chrysoleuca var. purpurea, Monilaria polita, Monilaria salmonea and Schwantesia chrysoleuca.
