Clutia is a plant genus of the family Euphorbiaceae. It is native to sub-Saharan Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula.

Clutia daphnoides is a South African endemic species from the Eastern Cape and Western Cape Provinces. Commonly known as Vaalbliksembos in Afrikaans it grows into a shrub 2 meters tall. It is an attractive shrub which is useful as a screen or hedge. The leaves are a vibrant lime green colour which is enhanced by the clusters of greenish yellow flowers. Trim to keep it in shape and feed in spring.
