Tulbaghia coddii, commonly known as Poets Garlic or Codd’s Wild Garlic and synonymously known as Tulbaghia poetica, is a rare South African endemic perennial found in the Mpumalanga province from Mariepskop to Mount Sheba and Graskop. Tulbaghia coddii is a delicate evergreen bulbous geophyte with garlic-scented bright green leaves and beautiful sweetly fragrant pink flowers in spring and early summer.
